The Machine Learning Club at NIT Silchar is excited to announce its upcoming ML Hackathon, a two-round event that will provide students with the opportunity to showcase their skills and develop innovative solutions using machine learning.
Dates:
Round 1: 21st Feb - 10th March
Round 2: 7th April - 9th April
Event Details
Round 1: Idea Presentation (Online)
- In this round, participants will be asked to pitch their ideas for an ML project.
- Ideas can be related to any field such as healthcare, finance, transportation, etc.
- The pitch should be a 3-minute video that should be uploaded on the provided platform.
- A panel of experts will review the submissions and select the top teams to move on to the next round
Round 2: Execution (Offline)
- Selected teams will be invited to the campus to participate in a 36-hour hackathon.
- The event will kick off with an inaugurator keynote from industry leaders and experts about the latest developments in the field of machine learning.
- During the hackathon, teams will have the opportunity to execute their ideas and develop a working prototype.
- Teams will have access to resources and support from the Machine Learning Club.
- The final presentations will be judged by a panel of experts and prizes will be awarded to the top teams.
